    Objectives

    Fundamentals on strength of sections - tension, compression, bending, shear, and torsion. Fundamentals on serviceability limit state verification (cracking and deformation) of structural elements in reinforced concrete. Notions of durability. Constructive dispositions: beams; pillars; walls.

    Teaching methodologies

    The teaching method is based on the teaching-learning process - which guides the role of the student and the teacher; the planning, design, and management of learning activities to be proposed to students; the typology of materials to be developed; and, the nature of the assessment of acquired skills - with the following distribution: Classroom classes (TP typologies); Discussion Forum; Mentoring session; and, Hours of assessment through assessment tests (Tests; Exams).
