This course unit addresses technologies applied to information systems, production, and business processes from a managerial perspective. It introduces the fundamental concepts of information systems and management, as well as the analysis of information system development methods for organizations, using information modeling techniques. The course also includes the use of business intelligence tools for information management, the development of risk analysis and information security skills, and the integration of the competencies acquired with information systems management methodologies.

To present the fundamental concepts of information and management systems, analyzing, through information modeling techniques, the methods of developing information systems for organizations. Combine the acquisition of acquired skills with the development of information systems management methodologies.

The UC is divided into theoretical and practical sessions. In theoretical sessions more than the expository method, it is intended to captivate and foster the spirit of intervention, constantly launching challenges, which require a chain of reasoning and attention, expanding the student's ability to concentrate. In practical sessions, practical challenges will be launched, which should generate appropriate solutions.
