    Objectives

    In this curricular unit, students will be guided through a journey of understanding the main theoretical models of economic growth, allowing them to analyze the determinants of growth in different contexts and understand the economic and institutional policies that aim to promote growth and economic development. Furthermore, students will be encouraged to apply the theoretical concepts learned in the analysis of contemporary issues related to economic growth, providing them with the tools necessary for a critical and informed understanding of the challenges facing the global economy.

    Teaching methodologies

    The curricular unit will be conducted through a variety of pedagogical methods, including lectures, guided readings, analysis of practical cases and debates.
