Objectives
Objectives
O1. Understand the experience of mental health problems in a multicultural context. The organization of the health system and current national and international guidelines; O2. Consolidate and deepen dimensions of Social Work relevant to intervention in Mental Health; The aim is to develop in students the skills of: -Know and analyze some of the most relevant theoretical approaches in mental health and develop essential skills for intervention in this specific area of health; -Understand multiculturalism and identify the influence of cultural and social factors on the experience of health and mental illness; - Address and reflect on social mental health policies, as well as the role of social services in preventing mental illness and post-institutionalization.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Theoretical-practical classes follow an active methodology, encouraging the search for knowledge, promoting student autonomy, stimulating debate, promoting the exposure of their opinions, increasing critical spirit. An approach to the community is also privileged, through open classes with invited professionals from mental health. The objective is to involve the student in their learning process.
