Class Seminars

The unit course Seminars fits in the 2nd cycle in Exercise and Health, in the area of sport. In this discipline we intend to give the students the contact with subjects related to physical activity and health, which will be presented by international and/or national specialists.

Different teaching methodologies (ME) will be used: Expository classes (ME1) and small group discussion (ME2). In terms of learning innovation, reference should be made to the improvement and consolidation of Scientific Knowledge (in understanding and writing), Technological Knowledge (in the use of computer media and digital platforms, as tools and strategies for communication, research and knowledge, essential to individual and collaborative work); and pedagogically oriented feedback, Active Learning through the adoption of student-centered teaching styles, which call for reflection, projection, interpretation and problem solving.
