Objectives
Objectives
This curricular unit aims to: 1. Identify and to understand the missions, the roles of the referee officers. 2. Know the formative framework of the referees. 3. Know the evaluation process of referees in the scope of non-professional competitions. 4. Know and interpret the 17 laws of the game. 5. Identify the several methods and means to assist the referee team. 6. Identify the new and evolutive technological trends of the referee team. 7. Knowing and interpreting the past and current evolutionary trends of the practitioner and the Soccer game brought by the change of the laws of the game.

Teaching methodologies
Different teaching methodologies (ME) will be used: Discussion of practical cases (ME1), Viewing and discussion of documentaries/videos (ME2), Small group activities (ME3), Feedback information provided by the teacher about the work carried out (ME4).

Tipo de avaliação:
1. Avaliação contínua sem prova final: realização de trabalhos de diversa índole, como elaboração de trabalhos de pesquisa, análise e interpretação de situações reais ocorridas no contexto do desporto, análise e interpretação crítica de textos selecionados, entre outros (100%), onde a classificação mínima por tarefa é de 9,5 valores. A aprovação está condicionada à presença de 75% das aulas.
2. Avaliação por exame final destina-se aos estudantes que não cumpriram ou não tenham tido sucesso na avaliação continua. Será realizada uma prova escrita que versa os conteúdos lecionados (100%).
A classificação final terá que ser superior a 9,5 valores.
