    - The uc develops themes in the area of ¿¿Political Science and its connection with International Relations. - Namely, the Theory of the State and International Society. - Addresses the State as the main subject of International Relations and Law and new developments in International Society. - It is fundamental in this cycle of studies in International Relations, because it deals with basic subjects for a complete understanding of the different aspects of international society.

    1. State and International Society: concepts and relationship. 2. The transformation of the Western State over time. 3. The paradigm of the Modern or Sovereign State. 4. The transformation of the Sovereign State: is there a post-Modern State? The question of the European Union. 5. The International Society: anarchic or ordered society? 6. The historical evolution of the International Society. 7. International Society and Law: the problem of International Law. 8. Subjects of International Law. 9. The composition of the International Society as a Liberal International Order. 10. The announced end of the Liberal International Order: Putin and Duguin.

    Objectives

    - It is intended to provide students with fundamental knowledge of the Theory of the State and International Society, with which they will be able to work on any other unit of the master.

    - Bibliography and papers are used in each class, so that students actively participate in it, exposing and debating what they analyzed in these documents. - Presentation of international debates (video) on the theme of transformation of the international order. - Open classes and conferences.
