Participa e lidera projetos nacionais e internacionais, destacando-se BETO “Better tools for diagnosis of infectious diseases”, IDEMBRU “Identification of emerging Brucella species: new threats for human and animal” e BrucMedNet “Improvement of epidemiological and serological tools for diagnosis and control of brucellosis in the Mediterranean region”.
