Doutorado em Turismo em 2015 pela Universidade de Aveiro, Mestre em Marketing em 2002 pela Universidade Portucalense Infante D Henrique Departamento de Ciências Económicas e Empresariais, Pós-graduado em Estudos Europeus - vertente económica pela Universidade Católica do Porto e Licenciado em Matemáticas Aplicadas em 1989 pela Universidade Portucalense Infante Dom Henrique. Publicou diversos artigos em revistas especializadas. Atua na área de Ciências Sociais - Turismo e Gestão da Hospitalidade com ênfase em Economia e Gestão.
