Resume

Marta Capinha is a Clinical and Forensic psychologist working with perpetrators and victims of intimate partner violence since 2010. Completed her MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology - Speciality in Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions in Psychological and Health Problems in 2009 by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra and her PhD in Forensic Psychology in the same Faculty in 2024. Published 21 articles in scientific journals as an author and as collaborator, 2 books, and 3 books' chapters. Was a member of the Organization Committee for 6 events. Participated in 114 events. Participated in different roles in 14 projects. Her research interests are: Intimate partner violence; Domestic violence; Perpetrators; Victims; Intervention programs; Recidivism; CBT; and Evolutionary models.
