Commercial work as an Artist and Creative Consultant for Urban Development and commercial technology developer following a PhD in the subject areas in the UK at the Royal College of Art in London, had opened up several possibilities for working in Portugal including a semester lecturing the 1st semester of PhD students "Interactive Art III: Interface Design" Department of Sound and Image, Escola das Artes,Universidade Católica do Porto. This relocation has allowed Natalie to concentrate more on her creative practice, although she also still continues work as a commercial technology developer for a Portuguese company alongside her personal creative projects and lecturing responsibilities.
