Objectives
- Raise awareness of the importance and objectives of HRM in Aeronautics Management; - Develop an understanding of the importance of Strategic HR Management; - Identify the methods and techniques for describing and analyzing jobs and drawing up competency profiles for the aeronautics sector; - Identify the methods and techniques for attracting, recruiting and selecting candidates; - Know the methods and techniques for welcoming, socializing and retaining employees; - Identify performance assessment, training and development tools; - Know the systems for managing staff rewards and benefits; - Describe restructuring, downsizing and dysfunction systems.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
This curricular unit consists of a theoretical and a practical component. The theoretical component is taught using the interactive lecture method, as students are challenged to think about situations and find solutions to the problems presented, using a set of slides that cover the various programme contents, videos and articles. The practical component uses the learning by doing method, with special emphasis on the work carried out by the students throughout the lessons, with various activities and case discussions.
