    Objectives

    The course provides students with basic theoretical coverage of the main topics of environmental management and eco-efficiency. The main objective is to understand that the integration of environmental aspects into the companies' business model is necessary for lasting economic success. Students must be able to deliver effective oral presentations, enhanced with appropriate media. As a general learning objective, students should exercise team building and collaboration to achieve the group's goals. During case studies, students will work in multicultural teams as they gather information, develop solutions and review written documents to prepare for oral presentations.

    Teaching methodologies

      - Media-supported presentations by the teacher, followed by students working individually to build their own financial model in Excel and group discussions to evaluate the results obtained - Theoretical concepts will be accompanied by examples and practical applications - Presentation materials and solution templates will be available online

    Avaliação contínua

    Duas frequências a realizar durante o semestre (cada uma valendo 50%) ou um frequência global final, valendo 70% do total e realização de um projecto valendo 30% da nota final (60% apresentação e discussão+40% relatório escrito). Nota mínima para aprovação: 10.

    Caso não consiga aprovação por avaliação contínua, o aluno  poderá realizar exame final, nota minima de aprovação: 10

    Continuous assessment

    Two tests during the semester (each worth 50%) or one final test worth 70% of the total, and a project worth 30% of the final grade (60% presentation and discussion + 40% written report). Minimum passing grade: 10.

    If the student does not pass through continuous assessment, they may take a final exam, with a minimum passing grade of 10
