  • Objectives

    Objectives

    This course aims to provide conceptual and methodological knowledge that enable an understanding of the most relevant issues in the practice of psychological assessment within a criminal context. It further intends to promote technical knowledge that allows for the comprehension of methodologies and assessment tools suitable for various situations in judicial contexts. Within this context, the focus is on the study of practical cases with the perspective of optimizing the acquired knowledge.

    The course is based on theoretical and practical lessons. Expositive, demonstrative, interrogative and active methods are used, favouring student participation, debate and the resolution of practical cases.
