    Presentation

Distance Education is a curricular unit in the 5th and penultimate semester of the course. Students are already familiar with university education and are preparing to contact professional life, namely in social solidarity institutions.

The use of distance learning environments is currently almost synonymous with online environments, using teaching and learning platforms. This unit aims to familiarize students with online distance learning models and practices. The generalization of online training, whether exclusive or complementary to face-to-face training, requires that graduates in education know these models and can explore some of their aspects in a practical way.
