Presentation
The legal order underlying the EU is an integral part of the political and social reality of the 27 Member States, Portugal being one of these States. European Union Law aims to enable students to know the origin and process of European integration and to understand the organizational and regulatory structures of the European Union after the Lisbon Treaty. Likewise, understanding the supporting legal texts, which are unclear and quite difficult to reach, will oblige students to analyze and interpret carefully. The values. the domains of action, the way in which the States interact with each other and with the Institutions of the European Union is essential to understand the importance of the existence of a Union of European States.
