Fitness II is part of a set of Curricular Units that aim to equip students with proper tools for future professional practice. The theoretical-practical knowledge inherent in these Course Unit will allow students, in a future professional context to prescribe group training programs for apparently healthy individuals, in strength (Localizada e Body Pump) and mind body environment (Posture & Flexibility e Body Balance).

Objectives
The student should be able to use and integrate movement and music, according to different cadences. The student should be able to describe and relate the different kind of exercises and the different goals The student should be able to prescribe strength (Strenght Group Training/Body Pump) and flexibility/mobility (Mind & Body ¿ Posture & Flexibility e Body Balance) training The student should be able to adopt the progressions in neuromuscular integration more appropriate to the context.

Teaching methodologies
The innovative methodologies to support the teaching-learning process are the use of international platforms for Les Mills programs. As well as the use of the platform, online teaching, of the top players in the fitness market.

A avaliação é composta por componente cognitiva e psicomotora.
Avaliação contínua: média ponderada igual ou superior a 9,5 valores; nota mínima em momentos de avaliação 9,5 valores, possibilidade de recuperação para 9,5 valores em momentos com nota inferior a 9,5 valores e média ponderada de 9,5 valores.
No caso de momentos de avaliação em aula, com excepção de testes formais de avaliação, poderá existir a possibilidade de uma média, de vários momentos, de 9,5 valores (por exemplo questões aula; fichas de aula; pequenas tarefas de avaliação; ...)
- Avaliação contínua em UCs práticas (TPDs, Fitness, etc.): na componente prática nota mínima igual ou superior a 9,5 valores
- Avaliação exame: nota mínima de acesso a oral, obrigatória, de 9,5 valores
A observação da prática em contexto tem uma avalição através de uma relatório com uma ponderação 8%
