Class Oral and Written Communication Practices

  • Presentation

    Presentation

The course unit Oral and Written Communication Practices develops essential skills in expression, argumentation and interaction across different communicative contexts. As part of the BA in Portuguese Studies, this unit promotes the improvement of students' abilities in producing and interpreting oral and written discourse, combining linguistic accuracy, clarity, appropriateness and communicative effectiveness. Through a practical and interdisciplinary approach, students explore different textual genres and situations of academic, professional and cultural communication, developing strategies for organising, arguing and presenting ideas. The unit contributes to a critical understanding of language as a tool for communication, knowledge construction and social participation, while strengthening key competences for contemporary academic and professional contexts.
