    Objectives

    CU has the following learning objectives:

    LO1. Identify and describe the key principles of psychological assessment

    LO2. Compare and critically categorize the different theoretical perspectives in the field of psychological assessment

    LO3. Apply skills of analysis and evaluation of ethical issues involved in the process of psychological assessment

    LO4. Recognize, in an integrated way, the different methodologies in the field of psychological assessment

    LO5. Explore the use of various methods and different sources of information in psychological assessment, allowing the incorporation of knowledge and skills centered on the multidimensional nature of psychological assessment

    LO6. Acquisition and validation of theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for the planned use of psychological assessment instruments

    LO7. Understanding and discriminating the specificities of psychological assessment in different contexts.

     

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Different teaching methodologies will be used:

    - Expository, demonstrative, and interrogative moments, based on various support materials, use of conceptual maps

    - Brainstorm and small group activities in the classroom, followed by a discussion

    - Video viewing and observation grids training

    - Modeling and guided rehearsal of different interview techniques, followed by peer and group discussion

    - Provide students with contact with psychological assessment materials

    - Simulation of the application of psychological assessment instruments

    - Role-playing, discussion, and feedback activities by the teacher and peers.
