This UC is part of the training in social work, being integrated in the 2nd year of the course.

I - Intervention with groups

1. Fundaments, objectives, principles and typologies of groups
2. Dynamics of groups and development of the methodological process
3. Models of intervention with groups
4. Phases and functions of Social Work in intervention with groups

II - Network intervention

1. Foundations, concept and connections with the systemic approach
2. Types of network
3. Objectives, dimensions and characteristics of networks
4. Models and tools for diagnosis and planning of social network intervention
5. Relevance of social bonds and partnerships
6. Role and functions of social worker in network intervention

The application of the content taught in the resolution of practical cases (to be carried out by the students) is not only a way of assessing the acquisition of the objectives set for the course, but also a way of developing their ability to apply this knowledge, providing a greater link between theory and practice.
