Objectives
Objectives
The objectives are: To develop representational skills while reviewing and deepening specific knowledge in the field of drawing, building on the content of previous drawing courses. To develop strategies and methods of graphic representation in the development of an individual, authorial project, which requires self-criticism and objectivity. To strengthen autonomy in the execution of artistic projects. To practice drawing grounded in theoretical, conceptual, and procedural knowledge. To encourage the regular practice of drawing and its understanding as an investigative practice. By the end of the course unit, students should have: An individual drawing project completed through its various phases, namely: - Research based on a theme (a film, a song, a concept, or an object specified by the instructors); - Proposal; - Implementation of the proposal; - Presentation of the works in an exhibition (design of an exhibition proposal); - Presentation of a portfolio.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Student support is provided through tutorials, which help guide students' expectations regarding the results they are expected to achieve. The breadth of approaches to the subject allows for the development of artistic hypotheses and a deeper understanding of what an individual artistic project in drawing can entail. Students choose their drawing tools and surfaces to better explore their individual interests, or they may propose their own theme to explore. There are always critical group discussions about works in progress, incorporating SWOT analysis to further develop the students' vocabulary and analytical discourse. Each student should view this course unit as an opportunity to develop their artistic practice and showcase their work in DCAM exhibitions-a presentation in a real-world context.
