Syllabus
The design unit will be divided into six working phases: - In the first phase, the student will continue to refine, at 1:500 / 1:200 scale drawings, the site plan and volumetry study developed in the previous semester - In the second phase, the student will continue to refine, at 1:500 / 1:200 scale models, the same study - In the third phase, a part of the proposal will be selected to begin the study of typologies at a 1:100 scale, representing it in the drawings - In the fourth phase, will begin the study of elevations at a 1:100 scale, representing it in the drawings - In the fifth phase, will advance to the elaboration of a model at a 1:100 scale, testing the articulation of the designed typologies with the elevations Finally, in the sixth phase, the student will present the proposal at the three scales, representing it in the drawings and models.

- To stimulate the act of architectural creation in dialogue with the historical context. - To develop the ability to interpret a program and conceive housing typologies in articulation with site limits, volumetry, and topographical particularities. - To develop the ability to articulate the response to a program with the simultaneous conception of public spaces and underground vehicle parking spaces. - To develop the ability to articulate the response to a program with the simultaneous conception of a façade grammar , consistent with thedesigned typologies as well as with the context in which it is inserted. - To develop the ability to represent at a 1:100 scale.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
The teaching method will include: Theoretical classes presenting content to support the development of the semester's exercises, especially regarding architectural culture, collective housing themes, and the complexities of intervening in a historical context. Classes with guest architects familiar with the subject of the curricular unit. Theoretical-practical classes in a continuous assessment system, receiving guidance from professors in monitoring the work, as well as in the interim presentations. Visits to architectural works. Presentation of the final project under the critique of guest professors.
