    Objectives

The objective of the Geography, Environment and Territory discipline is to convey to architecture students the importance of natural environment, in particular the climate, vegetation and natural risks in the exercise of the architectural profession. The territory is a complex system and susceptible to suffering diverse impacts caused by environmental factors and humans and for this reason planning, transforming and managing space is increasingly a demanding task, requiring a holistic and balanced view of the territory. The aim is to instill the idea that sustainable architectural design constitutes the synthesis of knowledge acquired by integrating the environmental and human components of the territory.
  • Teaching methodologies
