Renal and urinary disease Diagnostic approach; IRIS classification; chronic kidney disease; acute kidney injury; urolithiasis; urinary tract disease; micturition disorders. Dermatology Approach to pruritus; immune-mediated dermatoses. Ophthalmology Ocular manifestations of systemic disease; blindness; ophthalmic emergencies. Exotic animals Major diseases in exotic mammals, birds, and reptiles. Endocrinology Approach to PU/PD; diabetes mellitus; hypo/hyperthyroidism; hyper/hypoadrenocorticism; acromegaly; less common endocrinopathies. Immune-mediated diseases Immune-mediated anemia and thrombocytopenia; polyarthritis; multisystemic disease; myositis. Emergencies Triage; shock and sepsis; polytrauma; RECOVER principles. Rare diseases Angioedema; Fanconi syndrome; nephrotic syndrome; myasthenia gravis; polyneuritis; dysautonomia.

Objectives
Objectives
Acquire and further develop theoretical knowledge, clinical experience, technical skills, methodology, and clinical reasoning aimed at the resolution of real clinical cases in Endocrinology, Emergency and Critical Care, Renal Disease, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Behavioral Medicine, Immune-mediated and Rare Diseases, and Exotic Animal Medicine. Consolidate fundamental concepts in Clinical Nutrition. Develop competencies for the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to the main diseases affecting exotic mammals, birds, and reptiles. Apply the foundations required for coherent, critical, and evidence-based future clinical practice. Train clinicians with an integrated therapeutic, prophylactic, and preventive perspective.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
The performance of medical procedures and techniques will be trained using animal models in dedicated clinical lab skills facilities. Clinical cases will be analyzed through the development and discussion of concept maps.
