Class Clinical Neuropathology

The course of Clinical Neuropathology is a fundamental component of the Master's degree in Applied Neuropsychology, providing students with essential knowledge and skills in the pathology of the nervous system. With a comprehensive syllabus covering various diagnoses, this course equips students with the necessary expertise to understand and develop clinical thinking skills about neurological diseases. Throughout the course, students will delve into the main types of pathology affecting the nervous system (neurodegenerative, traumatic, cerebrovascular, etc.) as well as in the emerging field of non-invasive neuromodulation methods for brain pathology. The knowledge gained through Clinical Neuropathology equips students with a solid foundation for their future practice, allowing them to comprehend neuropathology and ultimately enabling practitioners to develop effective rehablitation plans and support the overall well-being of their patients.

The teaching methodology is expository, combined with some practical exercises for acquiring skills in the interpretation of neuroimaging data related to neuropathology and experimentation with non-invasive neuromodulation techniques.
