Class Thematic Seminars

The UC aims to present topics at the confluence of Education and Cognitive Science by guests from outside the Master's programme.

1. Education as an action project of social (and cognitive) justice
2. The new forms of transnational regulation of learning regulation. The role of the OECD and its global surveys

3. Genetics for Education
4. Contributions of neuroimaging to educational neuroscience
5. Neuroscientific perspective of classroom learning

This curricular unit is based on an eminently expository and active methodology, which seeks to address the topics of the program through communications and debates conducted by invited experts on each of these topics, moderated by the lecturer of the course. These seminars take place in the context of the class and may include different discussions for each of the syllabus topics, in order to provide different perspectives on these themes.
