The CU addresses social and educational inclusion in the socio-historical-cultural context in which it operates, seeking to be a space for discussion and reflection on many of the issues it raises in particular with regard to populations in situations of vulnerability, that poverty, social exclusion, disability or cultural diversity, among others, are a good example.

Objectives
- Situate inclusion within its socio-historical-cultural context. - Justify the scientific, philosophical, and methodological foundations of inclusion. - Understand the main guiding principles of inclusion and their rationale. - Be able to identify, characterize, and intervene in situations of social vulnerability. - Understand the concept of Educational Inclusion within the current framework of educational policies. - Deepen knowledge based on recent research. - Reflect on social and educational inclusion in its multiple dimensions.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
- Presentation for introduction and/or systematization of concepts. - Screening of documentaries, followed by debate. - Individual and group work on topics covered. Group work will be framed within cooperative learning – cooperative structures (Think-Pais-Share; CO-OP-CO-OP; Paraphrase Passport), in order to promote sharing, collaboration, discussion, and interaction. Students will receive in advance the texts on which the content of each class will focus, so that classes can be more dynamic and participatory. Emphasis will also be placed on the acquisition of knowledge and analytical skills, based on problematization and reflection on professional situations presented by the students.
