    By the end of this Curricular Unit (UC) the student should understand the basic statistical analysis used in the scientific articles. Furthermore, he/she should be able to perform the annual statistical analysis of the clinical results, in particular pregnancy rates, per transferred embryo and/or per transfer.

    Teaching methodologies

    The essentially practical nature of this CU is aimed at developping in the student a know how that will be indispensable in his future carreer. Only the repeted use of the main techniques offered in the course will allow the student to reach the mastery of these techniques.

    As aulas desta UC decorrerão à distância e/ou presencialmente, sempre que possível, com apoio audiovisual para melhor ilustrar o que está a ser falado. Quando possível, as aulas serão dadas por convidados especialistas no tema, seguidas de debate e discussão sobre o tema.

    Avaliação por prova teórico-prática (no âmbito da avaliação contínua ou em exame), com todos os documentos autorizados e com apoio informático.

     

    The classes of this UC will be given by e-learning and/or in a classroom, when possible, always with support of audiovisual media for a better illustration of what is being discussed. Whenever possible, the classes will be given by an invited expert in the field, followed by a debate and discussion on the theme.

    Theoretico-practical evaluation (either within the continuous evaluation process or as an exam), with all documents allowed and a computer provided.
