The UC aims to debate the concept of governance and promote a more complete understanding of the transformations inherent in an increasingly globalized world marked by the advancement of communication technologies and the hybridization of national public spheres. In this framework, relevant issues of global governance will be delved into, considering the role of the media, national institutions and international actors, in particular the EU, as well as the challenges and opportunities posed by the emergence of new forms of communication.
