    The aim of the course is to provide students with contact with artistic institutions, mediators and artists, taking into account the establishment of relationships between their learning and the professional environment in which they will be inserted. The experience of organizations and artists will thus be an important asset to allow the assessment of possibilities taking into account the projects to be developed by students both in an academic and professional context.

    7. Visits to contemporary art exhibitions
    8. Encounters | debate with artists, curators and cultural agents
    9. Development of individual works on artists, works, exhibitions or cultural institutions.
  • Objectives

    Objectives

    In an increasingly competitive society, the artist inserted in it must be able to know all the themes and mechanisms with which your work is related. Thus, the objectives of this UC are to identify the various aspects of art thematization and pragmatic problematization of its concepts essential; the acquisition of critical and analytical skills; the identification of core paradigms of contemporary artistic debate; recognition of their plural relations. It is also the objective of the curricular unit to provide students with a level of understanding of the contemporary artistic world (of its artists, instruments and systems), thus enabling them to develop their projects autonomous. Thus, taking into account the learning based on the observation of good practices and the exchange of experiences, analysis and dialogue are encouraged, providing students to reflect on the development of their future projects.
