Presentation
Public International Law started to regulate the relations between States, as well as the functioning of international organizations. Later on, international protection of the individual through a universal human rights system became a core subject of this branch of law. In light of this, it focuses on the peaceful settlement of international conflicts; the importance of the international rule of law for the existence of an international community governed by the same universal principles. Thus, it is fundamental for the training of jurists who intend to practice diplomacy, governmental legal advice or legal advice in international organizations.
