  • Presentation

    Presentation

    The History of Psychology course presents the historical evolution of Psychology as a scientific discipline, adopting a chronological perspective that enables an understanding of the emergence, development, and transformation of key paradigms, schools of thought, and intellectual currents. Concurrently, it fosters a comparative approach between the historical foundations and contemporary perspectives of various areas of Psychology, highlighting the influence of scientific, social, and cultural contexts on the construction of psychological knowledge. As a foundational first-year course, it contributes to developing a critical understanding of Psychology's identity, objects of study, methods, and fields of intervention, serving as a cornerstone for learning in the remaining areas of the study program.

  • Assessment

    Assessment

    A avaliação contínua contemplará quatro momentos de avaliação:

      1. a realização de dois testes escritos (com ponderação total de 60% na nota final - 30% cada teste). Cada teste integrará 25 perguntas de escolha múltipla, terá a durará 30 minutos e versará sobre os conteúdos programáticos.
      2. a elaboração de um trabalho de grupo com uma componente escrita (15%) e de defesa oral (25%) - com ponderação de 40% na nota final;

     os objetivos e procedimentos a respeito do trabalho prático serão disponibilizados no moodle.

    É obrigatória a realização de todos os elementos de avaliação. Para cada componente, a classificação é determinada arredondando às unidades o valor da média aritmética ponderada das classificações obtidas nos instrumentos de avaliação que a integram. A classificação final da UC será a média entre todos componentes avaliados, na sua respetiva ponderação. A aprovação da UC exige como obrigatório um valor de média aritmética ponderada das classificações obtidas entre todos os instrumentos de avaliação igual ou superior a 9.5 valores.

    Estudantes sem aprovação podem submeter-se a exame na época recurso. A época de recurso consiste num exame escrito, incidindo sobre a totalidade dos conteúdos programáticos da UC (100%). A melhoria de classificação é efetuada através da realização de exame que abarca a totalidade dos conteúdos programáticos. Em ambos os casos, a estrutura da prova integrará questões de escolha múltipla e de resposta aberta.
