Processes and group dynamics should be seen as sub-domain within social psychology whose main object of study is the group. The group is analyzed from the perspective of the group's influence on individual behavior and that of the individual when it comes to modulating the behavior of the group. Thus, from the psychology of the groups, they explore what they are, how, when and where they are created, their configuration and the types of roles and relationships established between their elements or with other groups.

Teaching methodologies
The teaching methodologies proposed and described integrate a set of teaching-learning practices and pedagogical innovation based on evidence, and adjusted to the objectives and contents of the course. Theoretical classes will use expository teaching methodologies (M1). In practical classes, active student participation is called for (M2), using different teaching methodologies such as selecting and implementing a group dynamics technique (M3), feedback from the lecturer (M4), peer feedback (M5) and individually drawing up a report on the group dynamics technique previously implemented (M6).

Assessment
Como referido no ponto "Funcionamento da unidade curricular" deste documento, a UC adota Avaliação Contínua (AC) e independência de avaliação das componentes teórica e prática. Cada componente integra instrumentos de avaliação específicos, nomeadamente:
Avaliação (Av)
Av1. Contínua com prova final:
1) componente teórica: dois testes (50%);
2) componente prática: (2.1) seleção e implementação de uma técnica de dinamização grupal, no âmbito de um tema previamente definido, e realização de um relatório escrito (descrição e reflexão - 40%) e (2.2) participação nas atividades práticas (10%).Os estudantes trabalhadores que não cumpram o critério assiduidade devem realizar um elemento de avaliação adicional;
A nota mínima em cada componente é de 9.5 valores.
Relatório escrito | Indicações
- Elaborar um relatório escrito com um máximo de 3 páginas (excluindo bibliografia e anexos), de acordo com as normas APA, 7ª edição.
- A data limite de entrega será até 15 dias após a dinamização da técnica.
- Critérios de avaliação: Descrição da técnica | 25%; Procedimentos | 25 %; Análise e reflexão | 37,5% e Referência(s) Bibliográfica(s) | 12,5%
Av2. Final: exame final (100%) que contempla aspetos teórico-prático (descrição de uma dinâmica e respetivos procedimentos).
