The course unit Observation and Analysis of Professional Practice is part of the Master's in Teaching Informatics, within the scientific area of Introduction to Professional Practice (IPP), taught in the 2nd semester. It aims to prepare future Informatics teachers to understand how schools function as complex organisations and to critically observe and analyse the pedagogical practices of the Informatics subject group. It focuses on observing classes and educational support activities, analysing administrative and school-management procedures, and developing a reflective, investigative attitude towards teaching practice. Preceding supervised teaching practice, the course plays a preparatory, structuring role in students' immersion in the school context.
