This CU is part of the 2nd Cycle of Studies - Master's Degree in Physical Education Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education, in the teacher education scientific area and in technological areas. It aims to provide up-to-date knowledge and intervention tools in the specific teaching methods of handball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. It also aims to enable students to use the acquired knowledge in their future professional practice.

The following learning objectives (LO) are defined: LO1 - Acquire, plan, and apply curriculum-based teaching/methodological procedures tailored to different teaching/learning contexts and levels of education; LO2 - Develop observation methodologies tailored to different teaching/learning contexts and levels of education; LO3 - Develop diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment procedures tailored to different teaching/learning contexts and levels of education.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Different teaching methodologies will be used: demonstration, experimentation, and practical exercises; pedagogical practices in simulated/real situations involving planning, organization, and intervention in the context of teaching/learning; resolution of practical cases; viewing and discussion of documentaries/videos; small group activities to develop observation, design, and intervention skills and concrete problem solving.
