Conference Are We in the Era of the Extinction of Fundamental Labour Rights?

Submissions are now open for the II International Labour Law Congress of ULusófona, taking place on May 13 and 14, 2026, in Recife and online

The Faculty of Law of Lusófona University, through CEAD – Francisco Suárez Centre for Advanced Studies in Law, invites the entire academic community to submit extended scientific abstracts for presentation at the II International UniFAFIRE/Lusófona University Congress, to be held on May 13 and 14, 2026, in the city of Recife, Brazil, with online streaming and remote participation.

Authors with approved papers will have the opportunity to submit full articles for subsequent publication in a collective volume. The initiative aims to debate and formulate research hypotheses regarding the current landscape of fundamental labour rights, taking into account the socio-legal realities of Brazil, Portugal, and Cape Verde, while considering both progress and setbacks in this field, its constant reconfiguration, and the constraints faced in its implementation.

Submissions must be sent, including the signed authorization form for publication in the collective volume (available in Annex 1 of the call), by May 5, 2026.
