Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The Comparative Education and Education Policies in Europe Seminar aims to promote critical reflection on the current challenges facing education in Portugal and Europe, drawing on comparative perspectives and evidence produced by the Eurydice Network.
The initiative also aims to highlight the role of Comparative Education in the analysis and interpretation of education policies, as well as to present the resources, reports and databases made available by the Eurydice Network.
Throughout the seminar, emerging trends in European education systems will be discussed, promoting dialogue between researchers, policymakers and education professionals. Opportunities for collaborative research in a European context will also be identified, and the use of comparative data will be encouraged as a means of supporting educational innovation and improvement processes.
