Nuno Artur Silva was born in Lisbon in October 1962. He is an author and producer of books, theatre plays, events, series, and television programmes. He has also presented television programmes on culture, political debate, and humour.
He was the founder and director of Produções Fictícias, a creative agency; founder and director of Canal Q; and founder and publisher of the satirical newspaper O Inimigo Público. He served as an administrator at RTP (2015/2018), overseeing content. He was Secretary of State for Cinema, Audiovisual and Media in the XXII Constitutional Government (2019/2022).
Recently, he presented “Onde É Que Eu Ia?...” at the Teatro Municipal de São Luiz and Tivoli in Lisbon, a stand-up comedy solo performance accompanied by real-time drawings by António Jorge Gonçalves.
Currently, he is a professor at Lusófona University in the Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema and Media Arts and the Kino Eyes – Film Directing and Production Master’s Degree. He is also the author and presenter of the programme “A Escuta do Mundo” on TSF.
