The 2nd International Congress - Domestic Violence and the Istanbul Convention will be held at the Faculty of Law of Lusófona University. This event will bring together renowned experts, academics, policymakers, and professionals from various fields to discuss the urgent issue of domestic violence and its legal, social, and psychological implications. Focusing on the Istanbul Convention, the congress will explore its role as a comprehensive framework for preventing violence, protecting victims, and punishing perpetrators. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in stimulating panels, interactive workshops, and keynote lectures delivered by prominent national and international speakers. This congress aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, raise awareness, and encourage best practices to combat domestic violence and ensure compliance with the principles of the Istanbul Convention.
