Meeting National Meeting: "The Role of HEI in Training Civil Protection Professionals"

This National Meeting is intended to discuss training models for Civil Protection professionals and the role of higher education institutions as qualified providers of technical and scientific expertise in this field, as well as the related issue of career development within the sector.

Organised by the Department of Civil Protection of FCNET – Faculty of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technologies (Lusófona University - Porto University Centre) in partnership with the Centre for Civil Protection Studies and Intervention (CEIPC), the meeting aims to establish a platform for national discussion and consensus on two highly relevant issues for Civil Protection—career pathways and professional training—with a view to informing future policy in these areas.
