Experts discuss the role of Higher Education Institutions in training Civil Protection professionals and shaping career pathways

This National Meeting is intended to discuss training models for Civil Protection personnel and the role of higher education institutions as qualified providers of technical and scientific expertise in the field, as well as the related issue of careers in the sector.
An initiative of the Department of Civil Protection of FCNET - Faculty of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technologies (Lusófona University - Porto University Centre), in partnership with the Centre for Studies and Intervention in Civil Protection (CEIPC), this Meeting aims to establish a basis for national discussion and consensus on two highly topical issues for Civil Protection (careers and personnel training), with a view to defining future policies in these areas.
