Debate Screening of the Documentary “Eu Sou”
“Eu Sou” is a documentary by Bruno Moreira and Filipe Gaspar resulting from a project by EAPN Portugal/European Anti-Poverty Network
As part of the finalization of the teaching activities for the year 2022 - 2023 of the Institute of Social Service, the documentary “Eu Sou” will be shown at the Fernando Lopes Cinema of the Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa, on June 5, at 2:30 pm .
Part of the life stories of a group of people who experienced situations of poverty and social exclusion. They are stories of joy, but also of episodes marked by violence, hatred or lack of hope. A trajectory through the experiences of the Social Insertion Income, unemployment, maternity, ageism and illness, reflecting the importance of the Social State in Portuguese society.
After the screening of the documentary, Dr. Maria Joaquina Madeira, vice-president of the Lisbon District Nucleus of EAPN Portugal/European Anti-Poverty Network, and by Carla Pamplona, protagonist of the documentary and member of the National Council of Citizens of the Porto District Nucleus of EAPN Portugal, followed by a debate with the people present at the session.
