Seminary Stories around Justino Teixeira Street
Rescue the memory of Justino Teixeira Street
What stories are hidden in the emblematic Justino Teixeira street, in the parish of Campanhã, in Porto? What is its history? Who lives there and what community relations exist? What activities do it have? What invisible aspects exist and persist? What kind of activities are still maintained? What new dynamics are imposed on this street in transformation?
In the scope of the Transmedia and Hybrid Narratives course, coordinated by Professor Vanessa Rodrigues, and in partnership with Mira, the final-year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences, Journalism branch, were challenged to rescue the memory of Justino Teixeira Street, developing multimedia reports and a webdocumentary for #infomedia.
The narratives will be presented for the first time to the general public, on June 27, from 09:30 to 14:00, at Lusófona University - University Center of Porto, giving back to the community their stories. Admission is free. The event will also be attended by Professor Isabel Babo (Lusophone University), Manuela Matos Monteiro, director and curator of Mira, and historian Miguel dos Santos.
