Open Class Sustainable Construction and Environment
Open Class at ULusófona - CUP brings together experts to discuss eco-friendly practices in construction and building rehabilitation
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Lusófona University - Porto University Centre, through the FCNET, is hosting an Open Class on 15 May 2025 dedicated to the theme “Sustainable Construction and the Environment”.
This initiative aims to raise awareness among the academic community and the general public about the importance of adopting more sustainable practices and materials in the construction sector, while also promoting energy efficiency, public health, and environmental preservation.
The programme features several leading organisations that will present eco-products and innovative technical solutions with a direct impact on indoor air quality, waste management, thermal and acoustic insulation, urban regeneration, and energy efficiency. Highlights include mineral wool insulation systems, ecological fibre cement, thermal mortars, aluminium and low-carbon steel solutions, and technologies for water heating and building climate control.
