Class Labour Law

Pursuit of the objectives set out in Fundamental Notions of Law and the acquisition of special skills in relation to labour law, fundamental knowledge relating to both individual labour relations and collective labour relations.

Distinction between Employment Contract and Service Contracts. Types of employment contracts. Duties of the worker and the employer. Powers of the employer. The trial period. Organization of working time. The holidays. The absenses.  The retribution. The place of work. The suspension of the employment contract. Modalities for termination of employment contracts. Collective dimension of labour law.

The classes will be mostly theoretical and practical, that is always contemplating the possibility of students to apply in practical terms the previously acquired theoretical knowledge and continuous assessment involves the completion of a written test,  participation in classes and assignments.
