Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
The course module predominantly adopts the Research-Based Learning (RBL) methodology, promoting learning through the critical analysis of scientific literature, guided research into academic sources, and informed discussion of contemporary phenomena related to Communication and Globalisation. The sessions combine theoretical presentations with the analysis of scientific articles, reports from international organisations, case studies and current affairs, encouraging students to relate different theoretical perspectives and to construct knowledge independently and on a well-founded basis. The lecturer assumes a role of guiding and facilitating the learning process, fostering critical thinking, the ability to argue a case, and the rigorous use of scientific evidence.
