    Audio pre-production: notions and practices. Positions in sound teams: distribution of tasks and skills. Sound workflow - tasks to be carried out in the pre-production, production and post-production phases. Microphones: directionality and feeding pattern - Dynamic and Condenser, Omnidirectional, Cardioids and Super-Cardioids. Advanced skills in Pro Tools. Sound to image editing; OMF and AAF as a transfer format between editing software. Sync, Foley and ADR. Fundamental studio operations: recording; mixing and finishing the films. Construction of sound narratives for films: a practical approach

    Objectives

    Students will be trained to design and develop all the components of the process of building a sound narrative for fiction (Pre-Production, Capture and Post-Production). Students will acquire skills in terms of sound composition and musical choices to include in their productions.
