    This course, based on knowledge obtained in Legal and Forensic Psychology, aims to students understand the meaning of the act and the process of criminalization, know the respective phases, the actors who pontificate in them and are capable of tracing the punitive trajectory. The right perspective psychological, in the logic of scientific intercontribution, is the matrix for reading and analyzing discourses of the criminalization actors, understanding the messages exchanged, the sharing of information and the effects of the same on the configuration of the criminalized process

    Syllabus

    Historicity and geography of criminalization. The law: discourses and intradiscourses. From the transgressed law to the law applied. Discursive interactions: reciprocal interference of discourses and practices. Circularity of messages and contribution to the criminalizing architecture. Psychocriminal and legalpsychological analysis of discursive interactions. Fluctuations in the criminalizing axis. Juspsychological intervention and formal control devices. Informal reaction and the possibilities of intervention. Juspsychological intervention programs: transversality.

    Objectives

    The CU aims to explain the intricacies of criminalization, both institutionally and in the social context, showing the system of interactions that is drawn between the different phases of the process. Furthermore, the operationalization of the juspsychological intervention in the criminal context is made explicit, including the movements traced by the various control devices, whether judicial and prison, mental health and education. It is intended that students master the criminalizing circuit from the preparation of the law to the execution of the measure and reinsertion.
  • Teaching methodologies

    Teaching methodologies

    This course unit is fundamental to student training, therefore literature will be used to support the material and schematic modules will be presented to illustrate the topics covered. Assessment: Attendance and participation in classes, including scientific events indicated by the instructors, up to a maximum of 4, with one assessment question related to one of these events - 40% Frequency - 60%
