In this course unit, we continue to develop animation skills, focusing on digital 2D animation. It is essentially a continuation of the first-year Animation II course (where students learned the fundamentals of animation and began with simpler exercises). This unit will develop skills in visualization and spatial awareness, animation both with and without keyframes, acting, and body language.

Syllabus
To develop traditional animation skills in a digital format (using 2D animation software) to provide tools to solve animation problems of greater complexity. - Enhance animation skills acquired in the first year. - Improve volume and line quality. - Create animations using a "subjective camera" (POV) perspective.

Objectives
Traditional animation-both with and without key drawings -produced digitally. The goal is for the student to animate without relying on the traditional system and to develop a more mature approach to animation. Building upon the animation skills learned in the previous year's courses, students are expected to apply their prior knowledge to complete these more complex exercises.

Teaching methodologies
In these predominantly practical classes, students will explore freer forms of animation while simultaneously developing their drawing skills and their ability to create short, fully realized animation sequences.

Assessment
A avaliação será feita a partir de 10 exercícios de animação de complexidade crescente e de nota diferenciada que serão fornecidos semaalmente durante as 10 primeiras aulas. As restantes 5 aulas serão para finalização dos exercícios. O exame é constituído pela entrega do trabalho do semestre. Há marcação de faltas.
