Syllabus
Rotoscoping: Transition from the three-dimensional views of character drawings developed in Character Design I to orthographic views. Plasticine: To support 3D modeling work, develop plasticine sculpting techniques. Mudbox: Create a model of the character’s bust and develop sculpting techniques in Mudbox. Finalization: Render in Mudbox. Render in Maya. Connect to the SketchFab platform for online model visualization. 3D printing.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Development of sculpture skills with a transition from the 2D to the 3D world. Exploration of different materials and approaches, from modeling in plasticine to creating digital models in Mudbox. Materialization of results through renders and 3D printing. Understanding the potential of sculpture, both analog and digital, for the field of Character Design.
