Morfologia Humana Aplicada (Eng. Applied Human Morphology, aka MHA), within the framework of the Digital Animation Bachelors, is a Curriculum Unit of structural anatomy in the origin of movement, facilitating the understanding and intentional representation of the apparent anatomy: of character expressions and movements. MHA will have three times: 1) theoretical teaching, with a research work development and presentation; 2) practical application from direct observation and drawing from live model; 3) creation of imaginary models, applying and expanding the lnowledge acquired.

Objectives
Objectives
Developping the ability to recognize the anatomical structures directly implicated in different body movements and knowing how to produce specific anatomic models (for characters) from this knowledge. Identification and representation of dynamic anatomy activated by each motion, from concrete poses. Describe the human somatotype and its variations. Design the structures and shapes of the human body, in their classical and real anatomical domains.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
In this CU mostly classical technologies will be used - book consultation, paper support drawing - as well as contemporary - online documentation consultation, audio-visual presentation achievement. CU innovation is found in how it creates a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical application, exercising that ability in the students through a creative exercise informed by their knowledge of human anatomy.
